Consulting expertise

We have a highly skilled team of experienced consultants with experience in developing policing and community safety projects in the UK and world wide. Including delivering multi million pound projects to enhance youth engagement, researching learning requirements and designing training programmes in the UK, Cambodia and Vietnam, to developing new approaches to reduce the risk of crime in UAE and Saudi Arabia

Our approach to crime prevention and community safety is based on some core principles:

1. Crime and criminal behaviour is not inevitable and that strong communities are more resilient and safer. We work to principles of Evidence-Based policing in our consultancy.

2.  Restorative justice is core to resolving conflict and reducing reoffending rates. We are members of the Restorative Justice Council with International and UK expert practitioners, consultants and researchers.

3. Community based policing is most likely to be the effective response. We work to the SARA model of problem solving in policing, wokring with communities to resolve underlying drivers of crime.

4. Leaders need to develop and evolve to a constantly changing context and to do this they need to learn and apply new skills through their working life. We work to the leadership standards and code of ethics set by the College of Policing.

5. Investigation skills and capabilities are fundamental to policing. We work to the principles set out by the College of Policing.

6. Responding to major incidents, disorder and planning for sporting and ceremonial events must start form the understanding of the communities that they occur in and aim to have the least impact on the public and a fast and safe return to normality. We work closely with the Institute for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning.
