The London Policing College supports organisations across policing, security and community safety through professional education, leadership development, consultancy and operational capability programmes. Whether developing new police officers, strengthening investigative practice, supporting community safety professionals or advising governments on organisational change, our focus remains the same—helping organisations build lasting capability that improves operational outcomes.
Founded by experienced policing professionals and educational leaders who recognised that modern public safety organisations required more than traditional classroom training. Decades of operational policing, leadership, higher education and organisational development experience, is applied to create programmes grounded in real operational practice meeting the highest academic and professional standards.
That practitioner-led philosophy continues to define everything we deliver, each programme is designed around the realities faced by professionals working in complex operational environments, ensuring learning is immediately relevant, practical and transferable to the workplace.

Dr Parm Sandhu D.lit FCMI
Director
Dr Parm Sandhu is an internationally recognised criminal justice and policing expert, broadcaster and author, with over 30 years of frontline and senior command experience in the Metropolitan Police Service, rising to the rank of Chief Superintendent.
Rod Jarman QPM FICPEM
Director
A former Metropolitan Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner with extensive experience leading complex policing operations, organisational change and national public safety initiatives. He now supports organisations in developing leadership, operational capability and sustainable performance improvement
Dr Stuart Hyden QPM
Director
A former Chief Constable and Queen’s Police Medal recipient with extensive experience leading complex investigations, national policing programmes and cyber and digital crime initiatives. Stuart has significant international experience and now supports organisations in developing investigative capability, leadership and effective responses to complex crime and public safety challenges.
Sunil Galoria
Digital Learning and Development Lead
An experienced policing intelligence and analytical leader with 25 years’ service in the Metropolitan Police. Sunil combines operational insight and analytical expertise with a strong focus on learning and development, supporting the design and delivery of effective digital learning that builds capability, develops people and improves organisational performance.
Frances Plowman
Business & Operations Manager
An experienced Business & Operations Manager responsible for coordinating projects, strengthening internal systems and supporting effective day-to-day business operations. Working across project delivery, client and associate relationships, business planning and process improvement, she plays a key role in ensuring the organisation operates efficiently while supporting sustainable growth and consistently high-quality service.
